From time to time the collection and processing of personal information is carried out by our third party contractors.  When your personal information is collected by third party contractors, we will take reasonable measures to ensure that those third party contractors are aware of and comply with this Privacy Statement. 


Use and disclosure of your personal information
Your personal information will not be shared, sold, rented or otherwise disclosed outside the Boehringer Ingelheim group (except as required for any statutory or legal requirements) in ways different from what is described in this Privacy Statement.

Boehringer Ingelheim may use and publish non-personal aggregate statistics and group data.  However, subject to the further terms of this Privacy Statement, Boehringer Ingelheim will not share or make public information about you without your prior permission.

Sensitive Information
Some personal information collected by Boehringer Ingelheim is considered “sensitive”. Sensitive information which Boehringer Ingelheim may collect includes a person’s state of health and medical history. Where it is no longer necessary for us to hold your personal information, we delete the information or permanently de-identify it.

Like many companies, Boehringer Ingelheim sometimes uses "cookie" technology on its websites. These cookies are stored on your computer by your browser. When you log in, the cookie tells Boehringer Ingelheim whether you've visited Boehringer Ingelheim before or you are a new visitor. Boehringer Ingelheim may charge you a small fee to cover any administrative costs that it incurs in providing personal information to you. If you believe for any reason that Boehringer Ingelheim is holding inaccurate or incomplete information about you, you may ask Boehringer Ingelheim to correct it. We will facilitate access unless we consider that there is a sound reason under any relevant law to withhold access. Changes to our Privacy Statement
Boehringer Ingelheim will use information in accordance with the Privacy Statement under which the information was collected. If Boehringer Ingelheim decides to change its Privacy Statement, it will post those changes on its Website so you are always aware of what information Boehringer Ingelheim collects, how Boehringer Ingelheim uses it, and under what circumstances, if any, Boehringer Ingelheim discloses it.

Amendments will be effective immediately upon being placed on the Website.  Your continued use of the Website and participation in the Program following such amendments being placed on the Website will represent an agreement by you to be bound by the Privacy Statement as amended.
